The San Beda College Mendiola (Manila) campus is located in a three and a half-hectare property along Mendiola Street in the San Miguel district of the City of Manila. It is one of the four colleges/universities located along the whole stretch of Mendiola Street, the other three being Centro Escolar University, College of the Holy Spirit and La Consolacion College. It is also just a few hundred meters away from Malacanang Palace, the official residence of the President of the Republic of the Philippines. The campus is adjacent to the Abbey of Our Lady of Montserrat, the home of the Benedictine monks who administer San Beda College as part of their religious apostolate.

SBC is very accessible by public transportation, with the Light Rail Transit (LRT) system along Legarda Street, greatly contributing to its accessibility.

Gothic and modern elements characterize the architecture of the physical structures inside SBC’s Manila campus. It speaks of high values in terms of aesthetics and functionality.

The facilities inside the SBC Manila campus are at par with, if not better than, those of the other leading educational institutions in the country. They were designed and equipped for optimum educational effectiveness. The campus has been aesthetically designed and includes beautifully landscaped gardens in front of the St. Maur’s and St. Benedict’s buildings, Sabater Court and the Plaza Bedista.

Other facilities in the SBC Manila campus include a football field, two swimming pools, the St. Placid’s Sport Center (made up of a gymnasium, basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts) and a dormitory for athletes.

Classrooms are each equipped with air-conditioning units, audio-visual projectors, television sets, DVD players, and other furniture and fixtures that can be collectively equated as optimum learning logistical support.

The San Beda College Conference Hall, Abbot Lopez Hall and Heritage Center (with a mini theatre inside) are used for conferences,

convocation, seminars, symposia, stage plays, film showings, and other socio-cultural and academic activities/events. The Conference Hall has 447, the Abbot Lopez Hall has 366, and the Heritage Center mini theatre has 90 seating capacities.

The College has three food service areas: the Dom Felipe Café, the Canteen with an alfresco dining area, and the Fiorgelato food station.

Other facilities include a clinic, offices and working areas for student organizations, computer and science laboratories, libraries, bookstore, prayer/meditation rooms, and an instructional media center. > > click this Campus Tour

The Rizal Campus of San Beda College is equally ideal for the students that the College caters to. It is located at Highlands Pointe in the town of Taytay in the province of Rizal.

As home to SBC’s Basic Education Department, the campus has been designed to provide more open spaces ideal not only for playing but also growing in the context of responsible communion with nature.

The facilities in the SBC Rizal campus are of contemporary design and concept with optimum functionality, attractiveness and conduciveness to learning as the primary considerations.

It also boasts of being an information and communication technology-enabled campus.

The true value of the facilities that make up the Manila and Rizal campuses of San Beda College is illustrated by the brand of life being lived and nurtured by the members of the Bedan community.

The foundation of Bedan community life is collectively made up of the Benedictine ideals Ora et Labora (Prayer and Work) and Pax (Peace). From this foundation, the brand of Bedan community life is richly defined by a strong sense of belongingness, which is in turn manifested by “once a Bedan, always a Bedan” camaraderie.
