The Graduate School of Law uses a blend of three delivery methods: classroom sessions that are held once a month, individual guided research using principally material assigned by the professor and calling for reaction papers of reasonable length and mentoring, particularly in the research leading to the writing of the thesis. Most subjects are team-taught.
This is a thesis program and the students will be required to present an appropriate thesis and to defend it successfully before a Panel of Oral Examiners presided over by the Dean. It should be noted that completion of the required Seminar on Legal and Judicial Ethics, that will include a session on Benedictine spirituality, is a pre-requisite for Thesis Writing. |
