What's Happening in Campus

1. The grading system in the High School Department is a combination of the cumulative and averaging system. While the student is      evaluated quarterly, he/she is also given semestral grades. The first semester grade is determined by adding 40% of the first quarter      grade and 60% of the second quarter grade. The second semestral grade is determined by adding 40% of the third quarter grade and      60% of the fourth quarter grade. The final grade is computed by getting the average of the two semester grades.

2. The Quarterly grade is determined thus: 70% of the Class standing plus 30% of the Quarter Examination Grade.

3. Grades of students are computed in the range of 65% to 100%.

4. P.E., Health (GICP), Music, and CAT Grades.
Make-up the grade in MAPEH.

MAPEH is a composite subject that is considered as one (1) unit in the curriculum. It is composed of GICP (Health), Physical Education (PE), Music, and Citizen Advancement Training (CAT) in the fourth year. In grading the following proportions are followed:

C. REPORT CARD
The Report Card is an official document of the school which shows the student’s performance per quarter. This card is intended to give him/her and his/her parents an idea of how good or poorly he/she has performed in a particular quarter. The cards are issued to parents during the HISFACO assembly. The report cards are issued to the parents during the HISFACO Assembly usually held after the end of a quarter.

D. EXAMINATIONS

3. Room assignments are also given to students at least one (1) day before the examinations. No student is admitted to an examination      room to which he is not assigned.

4. Examination Permits are issued to students only upon submission of fully accomplished clearance forms. These are required during the      2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter examinations.
