Current Awareness Service
                     A bibliography of newly acquired books and periodicals is regularly compiled and distributed to students, faculty and            administrators. This is included in the library newsletter which is published semi-annually.
 
Reference Service
                    The Reference counter provides guidance to library users in the effective use of library resources. The staff assists in the use of            the online catalog materials at the Reference Collection as well as on how to conduct research on a certain topic.
 
Reserve/Room Use Books
                    Materials in the reserve section are usually designated by faculty members as required reading. Most books are available for a            five (5)hour loan period.
 
Circulation

                    This consists of a comprehensive collection of recent imprints to support the educational programs of the College. Books with            copyright 2000 and above can be borrowed or browsed at the counter.

 
E-Library
                    A special feature of the library which provides simultaneous access to the Gale Online Library Resource Center, a database of            two-hundred fifty (250) titles covering the degree programs of the College
 
Special Collections
                    A special collection that highlights the materials about San Beda College.
 
Library Orientation Tours and Lectures
                    Library orientation tours and lectures are organized for new students, faculty and transferees at the beginning of the academic            year. The lecture gives a brief outline of the facilities, services and resources of the college libraries.
 
Interlibrary Loans

                    Materials which are not available at the SBC libraries may be procured upon request of the student/faculty through the interlibrary            loan agreement with the Mendiola Consortium libraries and some other libraries in Metro Manila. Request forms are available at the            Circulation Counter.
           Faculty members can likewise avail of the services of LAW and GSL Libraries.
           Researchers from Mendiola Consortium Schools are accommodated any day of the week whereas those from other schools are only            accommodated on Saturdays.
 
New Acquisitions

                    Newly acquired books and other reading materials are displayed in glass cabinets and book carousels.

 
Faculty Section

                    Faculty members may avail of the study room provided with Internet access and books for their supplemental reading.
 
Photocopying Services
                    The library maintains photocopy services at minimal cost.
