The San Beda College of Medicine combines the Benedictine tradition of Ora et Labora – prayer and work— to the teaching of Medicine. The SBCM faculty, mostly educated in the UP College of Medicine, provides medical education that meets high standards of excellence and quality.

The curriculum is designed to be responsive to the demands of an increasingly changing medical landscape. It uses an Integration Problem Oriented Approach that exposes students to patients and clinical material early and encourages its students to think.
