Being a Catholic educational institution, San Beda University has committed itself to the service of the Church, the Philippine society and the world. In keeping with the institutional vision and mission, the College of Medicine aims to produce competent medical practitioners who embody the qualities of a Bedan Physician, one who upholds the Benedictine values of prayer and work.

The College of Medicine aims to provide its students with the resources and the environment to nurture their development into dynamic and innovative individuals who will assume various roles in society – as leaders, clinicians, researchers, educators and social advocates/mobilizers. In San Beda, medical education is a collaboration between the student and the school, a partnership that extends beyond the confines of the campus.

Upon graduation, our graduates can be assured that the knowledge, skills and attitude they have acquired will allow them to serve as stewards of health, incorporating themselves into the community in order to transform our society into a better one. We hope to contribute to nation-building by producing future Beda doctors who will be instrumental in shaping and building our nation for generations to come.
