In recognition of the Constitutional guarantee of institutional academic freedom, admission to the San Beda Graduate School Program/s is open to all students not otherwise disqualified by law or by the policies and rules of the Commission on Higher Education or San Beda (Section 83, Manual of Regulations for Private Higher Education, 2008);
Section 1: The San Beda University Graduate School programs are open to students who meets the following academic criteria:
A Bachelor’s Degree in an authorized and recognized university or college;
- Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 85% or B or 2.00 for the entire course;
- Passed the San Beda Entrance Examination;
- Should submit all the other requirements as may be deemed necessary by the Board of Admissions;
- Transferees from other schools are not accepted, except in extremely meritorious cases as may be determined by the Dean.
- The student should personally process his/her enrollment papers. Assigning of proxies is discouraged.
Doctor in Business Administration
Section 2: Admission Policies. Applicant should be a Master’s Degree graduate

STEP 1: Pay the Application Fee amounting to seven hundred fifty pesos (Php 750.00) to the Accounting Office located at the ground floor, St. Bede Hall.
STEP 2: Take the entrance exam at the Admissions Office.

STEP 1: After successfully passing the entrance exam, the applicant should create an online account by visiting the BEDISTA PORTAL (Under Maintenance) and accomplish the application.

Graduate School of Law
Admission Requirements
1. Admission to the Graduate School is discretionary upon the Dean of the Graduate School of Law.
2. Candidates for admission must subscribe to the educational philosophy as expressed in the vision and mission of San Beda College and must be willing to conduct themselves, both in their academic and private lives, in a manner, consistent with the moral teachings of the Catholic Church. Non-compliance in this aspect shall be ground for the Dean to refuse admission to the student, or to terminate the tenure of a student in the Graduate School of Law.
3. For the MASTER OF LAWS (LLM) program, only those may be admitted who have completed a basic law degree, including Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD), with a general average of not lower than 85% and who shall not have incurred any failing mark in any subject carrying a weight of three units or more. Any departure from this rule is discretionary on the dean.
4. For admission to the MASTER OF LEGAL STUDIES, the candidate must have completed in college at least eighteen (18) units of social science subjects and are currently enrolled in a basic law program may be admitted.
For admission to the MASTER OF LEGAL STUDIES, major in Criminal Justice Administration, the applicant must have completed a basic college or university-level degree with a general average of not lower than 85% in any of the following courses: Criminology, Public Safety, Public Security, Political Science, Legal Management or any related course.
For the MASTER OF LEGAL STUDIES, major in Canon Law, the student must have completed a basic college or university-level degree with at least 18 units of theology.
5. Only those who have a Master of Laws, Master of Comparative Law, or Master of Juridical Science degree may be admitted to the DOCTOR OF THE SCIENCE OF JURISPRUDENCE (S.J.D.) program.
6. The decision of the Dean whether to admit a candidate for admission or not shall rest on the following considerations:
Entering credentials
Attitude of the candidate towards graduate education as far as can be determined
The time the student can give to research and study.
The Academic Standards of San Beda University.

Please take note of the admission policies of the College of Medicine. The Department reserves the right to deny an application if required policies have not been met. An applicant of the San Beda College of Medicine should be a graduate or a candidate for graduation of anaccredited four-year (or more) baccalaureate program in arts or sciences of any recognized or accredited institution by the end of the last term preceding the application.

(COL)
Admission Policies
1. The College of Law admits only those applicants whose credentials and personal qualifications yield evidence that they can offer an excellent academic performance and profit from the intellectual, social and spiritual opportunities offered by the College.
2. An applicant for admission to the law course should have pursued and satisfactorily completed in an authorized and recognized university or college the courses of study prescribed for a bachelor’s degree in arts or sciences; and should have earned the following number of units in preparatory law course: 18 units of English, 18 units of Social Science, and 6 units of Mathematics.
Note: A bachelor’s degree holder who passed the entrance examination but lacks the required number of units in the required courses may conditionally enter the College of Law, but must satisfy these requirements before admission to Second Year Law.
3. All students entering the College of Law for the first time shall take an entrance examination, which consists mainly of a test of logic, comprehension, articulation, and aptitude for the law profession. Entrance examinations are given, upon prior application, in accordance with the schedule duly announced, generally at any time between the closing of the school year and reopening of classes.
4. As a matter of policy, College of Law does not accept transferees from other schools, except in extremely meritorious cases as may be determined by the Dean.
5. All new students enrolling in the College of Law or reenrolling after an absence of two consecutive semesters are under academic probation for the entire school year. Old students may be admitted on probation in attendance, conduct or academics. In such cases, the Committee on Admission or the Dean may set the conditions under which they are admitted on probation.
6. A student must take at least sixty percent(60%) of the total number of units prescribe per year level per semester. Provided that should a student have back subject/s, the student must enrol the back subject together with not less than sixty percent(60%) of the total number of units prescribed per year level, and in no case shall the student enrol more than the allowable prescribed units per semester, per year level. The student shall, in no instance, be allowed to overload except in Fourth Year. Students must complete the Law Curriculum in not more than six (6) years from the date of admission into the College of Law. Should student evaluation, at anytime show, that a student cannot complete the law curriculum within the prescribed six (6)years, the student shall no longer be re-admitted.
7. All new students enrolling in the College of Law or re-enrolling after an absence of two consecutive semesters are under academic probation for the entire school year. Old student may be admitted on probation in attendance, conducts or academics. In such cases, the Committee on Admission or the Dean may set the conditions under which they are admitted on probation.

- For accreditation of courses: A subject with a grade of 82 and above, which has the same description as the subject offered under the degree program, will be credited. However, it may be repeated if deemed necessary by the Board of Admissions.
